The generally dry weather has certainly been good for hay quality at least, but it’s kept me so busy I hadn’t checked my beef calendar. And as it turns out, I have two quarters or one half available with an appointment date this coming week. I will have a break after that until late July at least if not August, so if you’ve been thinking about it, now is the time to pounce!

As every year, if you need a few buckets of garden amendments, come get some. Grow those tomatoes.

Also HAMBURGER, I sent a cow two weeks ago to be made into all ground beef, it made a bit more than I thought it might, so if you need a quarter of cow all in one pound burger packs, hit me up. $325 per quarter, roughly 50 net pounds per quarter, processing is already included in that and while not a regular offering, possible delivery. Can also split those amounts in half as an eighth.

The end of the line for Ol’ Screechy.
Thursday I *may* have had an accident where my very robust round bale wagon came unhitched from my truck and sent itself on a collision course directly into the barn wall. (Didn’t happen on the road, no people or animals were hurt, so that’s a win) Today I teased some scrap boards into a good repair, but the farm’s backup circular saw Screechy didn’t make it. It is now locked up solid. It will never screech again. I’ll oddly miss it.
