ARE YOU STILL BUYING GROCERY STORE BEEF?
There is another way!
Woof, what a hard year. Our family has been going through it. On top of close family, dear friends and even beloved pets going through physical and mental health crises, financial burdens are also piling up. We know we're not alone. Everyone has been feeling the pinch at the gas pump, in our electric bills, and of course - at the grocery store. For those of us who enjoy a good steak or hamburger, it's shocking - bordering on sacrilege - to see what a pound of mediocre ground is going for these days.
Yes - this is organic beef. Yes, it says pasture raised (asterisk?!?). But I can assure you these cattle have nowhere near the unencumbered bliss ours have on our small farm. The flavor is nowhere near as deep. The muscle marbling nowhere near as impressive.
With this beef your hard earned dollars disappear into a corporation. With our beef they pay a mortgage. They buy hay for the winter and supplies at the local hardware store. They pay a lovely local HVAC company to come and fix our busted heat pump (and guess what?! That company then uses that money locally too). That's the economic multiplier effect that happens when you shop local.
While you can't stroll onto our farm to buy a pound of ground the way you can at the grocery store, you CAN order a variety box (in stock now) or reserve a quarter share of beef from our upcoming fall harvest. When you fill your freezer with our beef, you can walk right on past the overpriced, low quality stuff.
And if that isn't enough, my (highly unscientific) decree is that buying our beef:
⭐ Increases your quality of life
⭐ Makes you smarter than your neighbor (whom you should invite over for dinner)
⭐ Helps us keep the lights, and heat pump, on
⭐ Connects you to this land and this community
⭐ Nourishes your body and soul in a way grocery store beef never could
Ready to order? Great!
