🍂 Well, it’s been a little while since we’ve had a chance to post on here! 😅

It’s been one busy summer around here between lawn care, flower beds, gardening, baking, and all the other everyday jobs that come with keeping up with the farm and home. There’s never a shortage of things to keep us busy! 🌻🐓

Now that fall is here, we’re booking leaf cleanups before the snow flies! 🍁 If your yard or driveway is looking a little buried in leaves and you’d like to get them taken care of before winter, send us a message!

And speaking of getting ready for winter… ❄️ We’re also getting things lined up for snow season! If you’re looking to get on our plowing route for this winter, reach out and send us a message. We’d be happy to hear from you!

As always, we appreciate everyone keeping us busy and supporting our little family-run business! ❤️

🍞🥐 Alright, we’re thinking ahead to fall & winter…

Would anyone be interested if we set up a baking pickup day at the farmstand this fall/winter?! 👀

We’re thinking things like fresh sourdough bread, english muffins, cinnamon buns, muffins, maybe some seasonal goodies… basically all the good stuff you've been missing! 😋

We’re curious — would you guys actually be interested in this?!

Drop a 🍞, a 🙋‍♀️, or tell us what you’d want to see on the menu!

Because if enough of you say YES… the Garden Chicks may have to fire up the bakery and get it back into production not just some here and there! 😂🐔

I don’t know what everybody has planned for this Sunday… but I do know what the Garden Chicks will be doing! 😂🐔

Somehow, someway, we’re gonna drag ourselves out of the garden, bakery, chicken coop, flower beds, off the lawn mowers, and away from whatever other project we’re working on… or just thinking about starting. 🤣

We’re headed to the Orwell Farm & Food Fest! 🌻

Come see us, stock up on goodies, and remind us that there is a world outside the farm! 😂

We’ll see you Sunday! ❤️🐔

🐔 THE CHICKENS ARE GETTING CLOSE! 🐔

We’ve still got a few farm-fresh whole chickens available for order! 🍗

They’ll be fresh and ready at the end of August — just in time to fill the freezer before the leaves start thinking about changing. 🍂😂

Limited quantities, so if you want one (or a few!), shoot us a message and get your name on the list!

Raised right here at the farm, just the way we like ‘em and with Oakleys help. ❤️🐔

Before the parade rolls through, come find me at the Benson Burdock Festival & Family Days! 🌻🚜

The rest of the crew is off having their own adventure that I get to watch this time—Oakley and Zach will be carrying on the tradition and driving Grandpa's tractors in the parade again! ❤️

We'll have plenty of fresh baked goods 🥖🍪 and garden-fresh vegetables 🥕🌽 available, so stop by, say hi, and stock up on some local goodness from Garden Chicks Farm & Yard.
Hope to see you there!

🎉 Come see us at the Orwell Farm & Food Fest tomorrow from 12:00–4:00 PM!

July means one thing around here... 🫐 Fresh-picked, organically grown blueberries are in season, and we're fully stocked!

The oven has been working overtime, so we'll also have plenty of homemade favorites, including:
🍞 Sourdough bread
🥯 Sourdough English muffins
🥐 Turnovers
🧁 Fresh muffins
🌿 Spices
🥫 Canned goods
🍁 Pure Vermont maple syrup

Basically, if it grows, bakes, or pours on pancakes... there's a good chance we'll have it.

Stop by, say hello, stock up on some local goodness, and support your local farmers and makers. We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!— Garden Chicks Farm & Yard 💚
