It was a busy week leading into the fourth this year.
After delivering relief water to the Lyon Co. Fire District #2 on Wednesday, the team at Americus Fire Department received their delivery of a full pallet of Emergency Relief Drinking Water.
The Americus Fire Department crew works hard to keep Americus and it's members safe from incidents that put their lives on the line. Anyone willing to do that for us deserves a giant pat on the back. To the team in Americus, thanks for what you do!

AB's Disaster Relief & Preparedness
We have a long-standing commitment to supporting our neighbors during times of need – dating back to 1906 in partnership with the Red Cross.
Today, we continue this commitment by periodically pausing beer production in our Fort Collins, CO, and Cartersville, GA breweries to apply our production and logistics expertise to can clean, safe drinking water for times of need.
Since the inception of our emergency drinking water program in 1988, Anheuser-Busch and our wholesaler partners have worked alongside the American Red Cross to provide emergency drinking water to U.S. communities affected by natural disasters and other crises.
In 2019, we also teamed up with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to support volunteer firefighters battling wildfires across the country and provide critical hydration to those volunteering to put their lives on the line.
To date, we have produced more than 100 million cans of emergency drinking water for communities across the country in support of disaster relief and preparedness efforts.

It was Flint Hills Beverage's honor to deliver a full pallet of canned drinking water to the deserving team at the North Lyon Co. Volunteer Fire District 2 in Admire yesterday.

The team over at North Lyon Co. is very deserving of this delivery. The crew covers a large rural area that exposes them to dangerous pasture burnings, car accidents, and other emergencies that can put their lives in danger in order to protect our surrounding communities and loved ones. It is always an honor to be able to give back those that protect us.

The emergency drinking water program has now benefited the North Lyon Co. Fire District 2 location on three separate occasions. This was possible because the team visited and applied on the NVFC website (link at bottom).
