Beautiful day for sharing some pictures around the farm!

Our Ameraucana and Easter Egger hens are doing a fine job raising the little Blue Laced Red Wyandotte chicks I hatched and gave them 3 weeks ago. They love their adopted mothers. So cute riding on momma’s back!

Elderberry and Red Clover blooming everywhere and newly hatched baby birds right outside our back door!

Our farm has expanded with the additions of AKC long coat chihuahua youngsters, Floki and Jazzy! They are so cute and we just love them!
Took Floki out and showed him in a puppy class at the recent dog show in Tulsa. First experience ever showing a dog! It was fun but Floki didn’t think so lol!

We also added horses. Used to raise Belgian drafts and draft crosses when our daughter was young. Sold out about 15 years ago but got the itch again! Husband pictured with a nice Percheron draft cross yearling c**t. He’s gonna be a nice one!

So I tried something.
I have two hens that are Ameraucanas and they go broody every year.
This year I put a batch of BLRW eggs in the incubator the very day I discovered the hens go broody.
I let the hens sit on eggs that were mostly not fertile.
I had 15 eggs hatch from the incubator and when they were two days old put them with the hens and they took them all! I’m so excited because now I don’t have to care for the babies! Yeah!!!
Btw, I introduced the babies in the middle of the day so I would know if they rejected or accepted them.

Hens are laying now - Yeah!We have kept several roosters back from last year and plan to start on a few breeding project...

We have kept several roosters back from last year and plan to start on a few breeding projects soon. Hopefully the results will improve our flock.

No chicks will be available this year. Only hatching eggs will be available.
Eggs avalable on a pick up only basis. We do not ship eggs.

This spring (2026) I will be offering hatching eggs only.

My estate sale business is keeping me very busy and I just don’t have the time to devote to hatching chicks for other people.

I will have two roosters covering hens.
***Huck- a coming two year old blue laced and ***Splash- a young splash laced.

Ironically, Splash was one I tried forever to find a home for but was never successful. I’m super happy it didn’t work out!
He isnt perfect and I hope his lacing matures out more fully and I don’t really like a splash roo BUT …. I love his deep red ears, clean legs, wide tail, and compact rounder body type with short back.
I have two adorable black laced girls that have good reverse hackle lacing (pictured)that will be penned with him!

I also have 4 roosters I kept back that can be available. All blue laced and all 8 months old. No BLRW hens available at the present time.

I have been going through my stock to see who I will let go before winter and who I will feed over winter in hopes that they mature on out as I think they will.

It’s really proving to be the roll of the dice for me! Ugh.. the ones I selected earlier to sell are looking WAY better to me now!

Here are some of Hucks babies from late spring. Hatched in April, they are now 6 months old and looking good to me.
If you bought babies from me this spring, I hope you have some that look like this too! Please share a pic if you do!

I’m getting ready to list several chickens for sale in the next month to prepare for winter.
Pictured are two girls. First is a buff colored Easter Egger. She is two years old and the first to come running for kitchen scraps. She lays a pretty blue egg. Forty $
The youngster pictured in the second pic is an Olive Egger. She is a pullet and I bought her for a broody hen that had a failed clutch. This little cutie is about 10-12 weeks old. Twenty $

Meet Blue Boy.
He is a splash c**k just turning one year old and son of Huck from a 2024 late summer hatching.
We’ve never kept a splash boy before but we like him and plans are to pair him with some black laced hens I have kept back.

All SOLD!!!
We have a few little 3 week old Blue Laced Red Wyandotte/ Ameraucana cross babies ready to go!
They are really adorable with their fuzzy cheeks and lacing which is already showing up.

We kept a few last year and they mature out to be big and very hardy. I have one right now that went broody and is hatching out a big clutch right now.

You will love the crosses!💕
