Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts! The immense amount of love and support shown for Mackenzie is profound. She deserves every bit of it and more🤍🕊️
Thank you to Delta Grove for their touching addition to our Memorial Garden in memory of Mackenzie Ainsworth!
A few words from Delta Grove:
On March 30, 2025, our community lost a beautiful soul, Miss Mackenzie Ainsworth. Just weeks before she would have graduated high school, her life was tragically cut short, and like so many others, our hearts were deeply affected by her story.
We wanted to find a meaningful way to honor her memory and somehow give back to all the special people who love and miss her. We decided to launch a fundraiser with proceeds going toward creating a memorial at her school.
Using her favorite flavors, we created the “Kenzie” tea, complete with custom purple stickers made specifically for her. Every Kenzie tea sold, along with additional donations, went directly into her memorial fund.
What started as an idea quickly became something so much bigger. People came in every day to support, donate, share memories, and talk about Mackenzie. Some knew her personally, while others were hearing her story for the very first time, but so many people showed kindness, generosity, and compassion throughout the entire process.
Over time, through all the stories and conversations shared with us, it truly felt like we got to know her better. She was an amazing young woman with a beautiful smile, kind heart, and great sense of humor too. We still display her photo and always appreciate an opportunity to share her memory with anyone that asks about her.
Thanks to everyone’s support, this beautiful fountain memorial now has a home in the school courtyard. The space was completely refreshed and transformed to create a peaceful area where Mackenzie’s light can continue to shine for years to come.
We are so incredibly grateful to every person who donated, ordered a tea, shared kind words, or simply helped keep her memory alive. Thank you for allowing us to be part of something so meaningful.
To Mackenzie’s family, friends, classmates, and everyone who loved her, our hearts continue to be with you. We know nothing can take away such a heartbreaking loss, but we hope this memorial serves as a reminder that her life mattered deeply and that she continues to be remembered with love.
A special thank you to Mrs. Cyndy Henderson for bringing our vision to life. You went above and beyond in organizing the plan and construction of this special place. We know Mackenzie cared for you deeply and would be so appreciative of what you’ve created for her and her loved ones.
Thank you to Rivercrest High School for allowing us to put this together and come out to see the memorial in person and take a photo.
And to Mackenzie, you are loved and missed beyond measure. It is incredible how many lives you touched in your short time here on earth. We are so honored to be part of your remembrance. Rest in peace, sweet girl.
