We are excited to welcome Nick & Hunter Roach as our Commercial and Market Goat Judges on Sunday of the IMGA Fall Show!
Nick was born and raised in DeKalb, Illinois, and attended Joliet Junior College, where he competed on the livestock judging team. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University, graduating in 2020 with a degree in Animal Science.
Hunter grew up on her family’s row-crop and cattle operation in Packwood, Iowa. She also attended Oklahoma State University, earning a degree in Animal Science with a minor in Agronomy. While at OSU, Hunter was a member of the livestock judging team and earned multiple top-five individual and team finishes. Her team was named High Team Overall at both the American Royal and North American, where they were crowned the 2022 National Champions.
After college, Nick and Hunter returned to southeast Iowa, where they remain actively involved in production agriculture. Nick works alongside his in-laws on their row-crop and show cattle operation, while Hunter works for a local agronomy company and helps manage Lock Cattle Company.
Together, Nick and Hunter own and operate Roach Brothers Show Stock, where they maintain approximately 50–60 Hampshire and crossbred ewes and focus on raising competitive show lambs.
