Yes, we are still here. Its been a rough few months with a lot of change in a short amount of time but we are doing ok. I won’t have the farm stand ready to go out until probably the first or second week of May.

I do have some farm fresh duck eggs available for $5.00 a dozen. If you’re interested, send me a message on Facebook or let me know on this post.

Duck eggs are fantastic. They’re a little bigger than a chicken egg, a bit more rich in taste and they make baked goods fluffier. So good.

Skeptical? Curious? Take a half dozen for $2.50 and try them out and see what you think. I actually prefer them over chicken eggs. 🤤

So… I have been thinking about what to do with the farm stand for a couple of weeks. I think the best thing to do right now is to close for the season. I don’t have the time or energy to bake or do a lot of anything while caring for Dom’s grandma as she battles cancer. The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster and I also still work full time as I’m trying to juggle other responsibilities. I’m disapointed. I had so many ideas for the fall and was looking forward to and what we could do here and we were having a good time doing what we did. I know that some of my customers were counting on me and unfortunately, life has other plans for me right now. I am hoping that next spring that things might be different and hopefully for the better. I am really sorry and I hope to see everyone in the spring.. Take care of yourself and each other.. ❤️ Jenn-

Good morning. Happy Thursday. 🌞
The farm stand will be open today for eggs only at noon until they sell out.

I want to apologize for the recent closure and lack of updates or communication. There have been some unexpected things happening and I’ve been a bit overwhelmed. My family has had some tragedy and illness that have needed my focus and energy. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. I will share more at a later time.

Today I have:

*Farm fresh chicken eggs $4.00 a dozen
*Farm fresh duck eggs $6.00 a dozen

The duck eggs are all white in color and will say “duck” on the carton.

You might be thinking, duck eggs? That’s new! It is. I raise Khaki Campbell ducks. They’re a cute light breed (as compared to rhe pekin drakes you see walking around the property) that produce between 340-360 eggs a year. The hens look like a brown mallard duck.

The market price currently for duck eggs is around $6-$7 (or more) for a half dozen.

Mine are $6.00 a dozen.

Duck eggs are like chicken eggs only a little thicker and more rich. Theyll make your cakes fluffier and are also fantastic fried over easy with toast. Or scrambled. Whatever you want. They’re delicious.

Good morning! It’s a hectic Thursday!
The farm stand is closed today. I don’t have anything to set out today. It’s my hope to be open on Saturday morning. I’ve got a crazy schedule this weekend so I’m keeping my fingers crossed I’ll have some time to bake.
