What a weekend at Que for the Red, White & Blue supporting our veterans and the VFW!

First off, a huge thank you to Kevin Heese for putting together a phenomenal contest and to Jody and Dirk of the Rib Cook Off Association for hosting such a fun event. This was our first-ever RCOA competition, and it definitely won't be our last.

Team American Fire BBQ had a pretty good day:

🔥 10th Place – Wings🔥
4th Place – Rib A🔥
1st Place Champion – Rib B

Those calls were enough to earn us Overall Grand Champion!

As an added bonus, this was a Memphis in May qualifying event, so we're excited to officially punch our ticket to 2027 World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest!

Congratulations to Jdqbbq on their Reserve Grand Championship finish.

A special shoutout to our great friends Mike and Peaches from Pirates of Bar B Que Bay on their 1st Place Rib A finish. Thanks for all the help throughout the weekend—from sauces and glazes to encouragement and laughs. That's what BBQ family is all about.

Competition BBQ is supposed to be fun, and this weekend was exactly that. Great people, great food, a great cause, and some hardware coming home with us.
