Sweet corn is harvested and preserved for later. We have frozen corn and canned corn for the winter.

It took all summer, but the chickens did excellent work. They are little work horses. They pecked their way through the rough grass and brush, thatched the ground, added fertilizer and promoted new growth of fresh greens.

They did good and the pasture looks green. We will throw some clover seed down and hopefully we will have a beautiful pasture are in the spring.

Fall planting has started here in Wisconsin. Trying to get one more round of veggies through the garden. First up, we are removing the beans and adding peas and broccoli.
