If I charged more for cookies I could afford to hire a social media manager, but alas, customers like affordable treats and I like my customers. So here we are: me showing up again with cookie photos on your news feed after almost a month, and you delighting in said cookie photos and deciding to order some for your next shindig.

Well, that’s how I like to think it plays out anyway.

Here’s what I’ve been working on the last several weeks:

• Farmer’s market baby shower; sincere congratulations to the expecting couple!

• Pooh Bear baby shower; for my neighbor’s soon-to-be grandson 🥹

• World Cup Finals cookies—because in the words of Danny Rojas: Football is life. (And Ted Lasso is life, too. If you haven’t watched it, do it now.)

• One for the Books birthday!

• niece’s graduation; she graduated a West Wildcat, and is becoming a GB Phoenix.

• Girls Just Wanna be One birthday—fun because the only requirement was “bright colors” and I got to wing the rest

• a “Wild Time” Christmas in July celebration 🦁

• Baby-Q sprinkle; congrats on the addition you guys!

• a Dino birthday party for a pretty cool 4 year old girl! 🦕 🦖

A day late and a dollar short, but happy Independence Day from Dani by the Dozen! Roy celebrated his first year of freedom… from his momma’s belly 😆

Really though, I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July.

I especially want to think of those in our neighborhoods who have been through combat and bear the invisible scars of PTSD, those with pets scared out of their minds, or parents with babies who couldn’t sleep through the noise: I hope you found refuge, or had mindful neighbors consider how their fun might have affected you. I urge that if we know of anyone who may have had a rough night, we think to check in on them today. Sending you love!

Oi, I’ve been bad at uploading cookie sets I’ve done in the past few weeks. Full disclosure, I’ve sworn off Facebook for many months now—which I realize is bad for social media presence but GREAT for peace of mind. So I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing and surprising your news feed with cookie drops randomly 😬

Here we go:

A couple birthdays, a wedding shower, and some graduations (not pictured) a couple weeks ago. Happiest of birthdays to the kiddos, and a huge congratulations to the happy couple on their upcoming nuptials.

I don’t think it’s fully understood how 3 minutes of your time can impact your favorite local business, especially the super small ones.
