It is always really hard to send off one of our coos to their new homes. Ester is one of a kind and such a beautiful heifer. We are going to miss her around here! Thank you, Wyatt and Britt, I know Ester will do amazing with you!

(Sold!) Our beautiful Esther is looking for a new green pasture. She is a Highland cross (my guess Dexter) and naturally polled. She is confirmed bred (blood test) to our HHCA registered bull RCR Dozer due end of February to beginning of April 2027. She is a second calf heifer. (Third picture bull bred to.) Calf will be a gorgeous brindle! Located in the Nebraska Panhandle.

RCR Yellow Queen (HHCA A-002368) is looking for new green grass! We call her Charlotte. She was born 12/4/2023. She is confirmed bred (blood test) to our registered HHCA-B bull, RCR Dozer, due Feb. 22 - April 7, 2027. She is a beautifully built heifer and I'm sure her spring calf will be amazing as well! (Fourth picture is Dozer and fifth picture is her dam, RCR Queenie). Located in the Nebraska Panhandle.

Mesa and Mcarty are looking to find their Highland 4-H steers new green pastures. These yearling boys are halter broke, easy to handle and well-loved. The dun is 560 pounds and the yellow is 484 pounds. Located in the Nebraska Panhandle.

Finally a cooler day to preg check the cows. RCR Dozer has been in with the girls for about 60 days. We have seven bred and four open. The seven headed out to our summer pasture and the others get to hang out with Dozer for a little bit more at home. Here's to hoping we hit 100% bred!

We are so excited for Macarty and Mesa to show our favorite breed of cattle at the Morrill County Fair! These ladies have worked their butts off and the steers are amazing! Good luck, ladies!

This guy, Ferguson, is extra special for us. He is the first Lost Creek calf to be in the 4-H program! I had to include his baby picture from the day he was born!

Well, we added to the fold again today. Meet Magaidh (pronounced Magee and meaning "pearl") and baby Callum. He was named Sir Loin, which is pretty cute! 😆

Time flies when you're having fun! LCH Finley is a year old today! She is not a little blue baby anymore, but she sure is perfect. Finley has always been very social, like her mom; and loves pets, brushing and lots of cake!

Morning coffee with Rosie this morning! The coos have been running with the new boy for the last week, so hopefully there are eleven baby Dozers (hopefully more Dozerettes) early next year!
