🐣 A Little Surprise on the Farm! 🐣

A few weeks ago, I got a little lazy and didn’t collect the eggs for about a week and a half. 😂 Well… apparently, one of my hens decided to take matters into her own wings!

She went broody and decided she was going to hatch those eggs, so I figured I’d let her give it a try. 🐔❤️

This morning, I went out to check on everyone and found one beautiful little baby chicks tucked underneath her! 🥹🐣

🐔 Chicken Coop Update — Day 2! 🐔

Well… we’re FINALLY back to working on the chicken coop! 😂

It’s been about 3 weeks since I posted the first update, and apparently life had other plans. Between running out of paint and waiting an extra week for another gallon to come in, plus everything else that has been going on around the farm… this project got put on the back burner. 🤦‍♀️😂

But we’re back at it! 🎨🐔

We still have LOTS to do, but I’ll make sure to keep everyone updated as we go! Slowly but surely, this coop is coming together. ❤️🐔

🐐❤️ Our first breeding of the season! ❤️🐐

I am SO excited to announce that Robert and Love Bug had their first breeding of the season last night! 🎉🐐

Goats have an average gestation of about 150 days (roughly 5 months), so if everything goes as planned, Love Bug’s estimated due date is January 23, 2027! 🍼🐐❤️

Now I’m extra excited to start breeding the rest of the girls, and before we know it, we’ll have a whole new group of sweet little goat kids running around the farm! 🥰

I’m already excited! 😂❤️

Let the breeding season begin! 🎉🐐

🐐💕 Looks like someone is in love! 😂

Love Bug is in heat, and Robert is taking full advantage of his opportunity to woo his lady. 😂

He’s been making all his little love noises, licking her, and giving her ALL the attention while Love Bug just leans against the fence enjoying it. 🤣

I was originally thinking about waiting until next month to start breeding Love Bug—or any of the girls for that matter—but after watching these two, I think I might just let Robert have his chance with Love Bug later today. 😂🐐

Robert has been waiting for this moment! ❤️🤣

🐇 Baby bunnies are here! 🤎

Miss Brownie has done it again! She welcomed 8 healthy little kits into the world. 🥰

No matter how many litters we have, I still get excited over each and every one! ❤️🐇

They’re still tiny little sleepy beans, but I can’t wait to watch them grow! 🌱🤎

🌻💛 Good Morning! 🌻

We’ll be open today from 8 AM–5 PM! Come take a stop in and see what we have at the farm stand.

Our sunflowers are a hit! Sometimes the things you don’t plan end up being the most beautiful.

My random little sunflower patch has become a favorite spot for the bees 🐝 and now even this beautiful male goldfinch has been enjoying the sunflowers! 🐦🌻

I’m so happy knowing these flowers are bringing a little extra life to the farm. 🤎 #603

When you need a stool sample from your goat… but apparently Robert has better things to do. 😂🐐💩

One hour later… ⏰😂

FINALLY got my sample! 🙌🤣

Never thought “waiting for my goat to poop” would be part of my morning plans, but here we are. 😂

Farm life is glamorous, guys. 😂 🐐❤️ if there is a better way to collect a stool sample please let me know! #603

These are the types of notifications I get from my security cameras when I’m out and about. 😂📱

I didn’t realize I had cows or deer… 🐄🦌😂

Apparently my cameras are doing exactly what they’re supposed to do and detecting everything that moves around the farm… but apparently the goats aren’t goats, I guess! 😂

According to my cameras, I now have deer, cows, and apparently dogs hanging out over at the goat barn. 🤣🐐🐄🦌🐕

I guess the goats are having an identity crisis! 😂

Our little sunflower patch is really starting to show off! Almost all of our sunflowers are in bloom, and the bees are absolutely LOVING them. 💛

Our farm stand is open daily from 8 AM–5 PM, with lots of goodies waiting for you. 🌱🪴🐐
