16 Saturdays in a row. SOLD OUT. 🤎

You guys did it again.

Week after week, we load up the Cow Path goodies, head to the Moses Lake Farmers Market, and somehow keep coming home with empty boxes.

Today makes 16 sold-out Saturdays in a row.

That is absolutely incredible for our little scratch-made bakery, and we don’t take a single one of those Saturdays—or a single one of you—for granted.

Thank you for getting up on Saturday mornings, coming to find us, bringing your friends, grabbing treats for your families, and continuing to support our team.

Apparently Moses Lake is pretty hungry. 😂

16 weeks. 16 sellouts. And a whole lot of gratitude. 🤎🐄

Calling on all my people who LOVE their sourdough with a super crispy crust and a lusciously soft crumb on the inside. We have the bread for you!!!! We’ve got a batch of Italian Herb Sourdough that was left in the oven for too high of a temperature for a smidge too long. Discounted loaves for $8.

Quality Control

The Very Serious Responsibilities of a Bakery Owner

Being a bakery owner comes with a lot of responsibility.

There are employees to lead.

Customers to take care of.

Orders to fill.

Bills to pay.

And then there is perhaps the most important responsibility of all…

Quality control.

You see, when a fresh batch of cinnamon rolls comes out of the oven, someone has to make sure they’re soft enough.

When the frosting gets spread across the top, someone has to verify the frosting-to-roll ratio.

When a new cookie recipe is tested, it would be irresponsible to simply assume it tastes good.

And when the bakery makes a limited-time Huckleberry Roll?

Well.

That requires particularly careful inspection.

First, you check the swirl.

Then the frosting.

Then the huckleberries.

And finally…

you take a bite.

Sometimes two.

Occasionally half the roll disappears before testing is complete.

This is not snacking.

This is leadership.

It’s a demanding job.

But somebody has to do it.

And as the owner of The Cow Path Bakery, I take quality control very seriously. 😋🫐
