As you are probably aware, our family has decided to move on to a new “era” and have closed our dairy.

We feel so fortunate to have gotten to live our little dream and run a successful business based on our personal beliefs. A true testament to our practices came up as we were sorting cows this past week. We are proud to say we have a large handful of beautiful cows that are 18 years old and have been on this entire journey with us. They’ll stay with us and enjoy a retirement full of lush pastures. Our special practices gave us the opportunity to love on these special girls for so many years.

We were not shut down by any of the state agencies, nor did we ever find an issue on the dairy. We decided it was time to focus on our family life. Many of you met our children as toddlers and now they are working on high school and college! It’s amazing how time flies!

We couldn’t be more thankful for the support we’ve received over the years. YOU all are the reason we could dairy the way we did.

Thank you so much for the kind messages of support and encouragement. We want to thank all of you who made donations and let you know that we are hoping to use those funds to support our amazing employees as they are working through this transition too.

I’ll try to continue to post information (such as cows we have available) as we work through this transition.

Again, we are so grateful for your support over the years and as our family moves on to new ventures. You never know what the future will bring!

We would like to thank everyone for the kind messages, words of support and encouragement, as well as the starting of this fund. We are so grateful for the tremendous support our little dairy has had over the years and deeply appreciate your continued support.

This has been a long month for everyone, but we’ve continued to love on and milk our special “Jersey Girls” with the hope of making all our products again soon. We truly thank you, as your support has always been the reason our little dairy exists.

***UPDATe*** WSDA pulled 12 random yogurt samples from store shelves and all have come back with NO E. Coli. We will keep you posted.***

Notice of Recall on our Yogurt Products:

We regret to inform you that we have been contacted by the Washington State Department of Health due to a possible link between our yogurt products (Pure Eire and PCC brands) and possible E. Coli contamination. We are awaiting further testing information. However, out of an abundance of caution we are voluntarily recalling all of our yogurt products and halting yogurt production until further investigations are conducted.

As you are the reason we exist and your health is our greatest concern, we have asked our retail outlets to pull all of their yogurt inventory and halt all yogurt sales. We’re also advising you to discontinue consumption of any yogurt you may have on hand. We take any and all contamination concerns very seriously. Your health and safety have always been our primary concern.

We are so appreciative of your support over the years. We are committed to supplying you with the highest quality products possible and will keep you posted on the investigation process.

SAVE THE BEES! We ended up with a huge hive of bees not only in our tree, but also on our grass this weekend. Luckily, these folks could save them.

They came with ladders. But if you’re at a farmer’s house, we lift people up in loaders! It’s funny what farmers will do to save bees!
