We got the scoop on the road construction happening on the other side of Malvern! According to the workers we chatted with, the other side of Malvern is getting paved because it was largely paid for by one of the residents on that street 🤯

Can one of the residents on our side of the street have the same thought?? 😅 we’re so jealous and dusty over here!!!

How beautiful was this morning, though? 🥺 we got some rain overnight which was SO good! It has cooled things off and even though it kind of made everything smell like smoke for a little while again, I like to think all the plants are like “ahhhh, refreshing” after all the fires.

This is our THIRD large harvest of elderberries this season from our three bushes! What a productive year they are having. You will find dehydrated berries in the farmstand this weekend. If you want to reserve some before they go out on a FCFS basis, just shoot us a message!

•pickup is in Otis Orchards, WA. We do not ship birds.
•our birds are priced appropriately and fairly, we do not haggle on living creatures 🫶🏼
•we are a certified NPIP/AI clean farm. For this reason, we do not and cannot accept any returns of birds.
•if a bird is sold to you as a suspected pullet and it turns out to be a rooster, we will credit you the difference of price between the two. By purchasing, you are accepting this and acknowledging that there are chances that developing birds could be tricky to s*x and slow to mature.

Looking for the next chicken to add to your flock?

This week we will be listing the LAST available hens, pullets and breeding roosters (and Sebastopol geese!) we will have for the 2026 season - including a few already laying Orpington and Olive Egger hens! Expect pickup to be the weekend of August 22nd at the farm. We will create a pinned post to our page that will be regularly updated with the birds we have available.

We have quite a few gorgeous ‘26 Orpington cockerels that pass all of my tests to be considered for breeding stock, but I don’t need to keep them all. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to get into the breed without putting in the years of work we’ve done for you 😘
