Winny just kindly shared the pics from the engagement. What I didn’t share with all of you was I was representing Geoff’s family and was quizzed by the village elders about our people, who I am, etc. they asked if the family has a symbol. I had to explain as a general rule, American families do not. Then we negotiated what Geoff was giving her family (which I’m not sure Winny is supposed to know so I won’t say here but you can message me and I’ll tell you). After these formalities were completed, I was welcomed into the family and now have an entire new family in Kenya, whom I adore!
