We are open today (Monday August 3rd) on this beautiful day! Field conditions will be a little muddy early today but should improve later in the day. We’ve got a lot of great sweet corn and other produce picked and the cut flowers and sunflower trail are open and looking great too!

We’re open 10 am to 8 pm. Hope to see you out!

Field update for Sunday, August 2nd. We are very thankful for a nice (and much needed) rain this morning. The flowers and veggies are loving it!

Due to the muddy field conditions and continuous rain showers, it’s just not a good day to pick your own flowers or venture into the sunflower trail. So, we will be closed for the day.

Gust Flower and Produce Farm Update for Wednesday July 29th.

We now have sweet corn in the market to go along with peaches, cantaloupe, broccoli, cabbage, kale, potatoes, zukes, cukes (slicing and pickling), peppers, onions, and eggplant.

If interested in pickling cucumbers, text Jake at 517-605-2209–we have some real nice ones right now for sale by the bushel.

Our sunflower maze is really starting to bloom! Our first batch of single heads are out in full bloom and there are some real nice photo opportunities inside the trail. Those single heads are in the back half of the field, so you’ll have to do some venturing to see them.

Our cutting flowers are lovely right now and if you want to cut sunflowers this summer, our best batch of pollen less cutting sunflowers is in bloom now. There are so many blooms to choose from in our cutting area. Stop in, enjoy this nice weather, and build your own bouquet today for just $11.

Good morning from Gust Flower and Produce Farm!! We are now open for the 2026 summer season. What a beautiful day it is with a nice weekend on tap too.

Our cutting flower area is spectacular right now. We have many varieties of beautiful flowers on over 3 acres, ready to be cut. Mason jars cost $11 and you can fill it with as many flowers as you’d like. We provide the scissors, jar and water.

Our first bloom of cutting sunflowers is coming on strong right now with lots of different sunflower varieties to cut.

The sunflower trail is open and blooms are just starting to pop out, so photographers get your cameras ready and sessions booked! Our first batch of single heads are showing lots of blooms and our branching heads are a little behind them, with blooms just starting to pop. The trail is loaded with photo opportunities and props too. New this year, the sunflower trail goes around the outside of the field, and check in/payment is at the concession barn. The cost of the trail is 5$ per person. 2 and under are free.

We have produce available for sale as always in the veggie barn. Right now we have zucchini, cucumbers, onions, broccoli, cabbage, kale, potatoes, eggplant. Tomatoes, peppers, sweet corn, melons, and peaches are soon to be in.

Our concession barn is stocked with drinks, ice cream, snacks, popsicles, amish goods, pies and cinnamon rolls, jams, candles, and we will have honey real soon.

Finally our play area offers a new covered seating structure, goats to feed, our tractor swingset, tire sand pits, basketball shooting hopper wagon and some games like checkers, co****le, and tic tac toe bags. There is no cost for this area.

We are located at 11998 Rodesiler Hwy in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Hours are 10 am til dusk— daily, (as long as we haven’t had large, flooding rains and the ground is flooded)

We do have a no pet policy.

Our summer location is open today until Sunday, September 6th. Gust Brothers Pumpkin Farm opens Monday September 7th —Labor Day.

Good morning from Gust Flower and Produce Farm. We hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather!

We wanted to update you on our opening day for the 2026 season. We will be opening FRIDAY JULY 24th and will be open daily from 10 am until dusk (weather permitting). Our season will end the Sunday prior to Labor Day, Sunday September 6th. Gust Brothers Pumpkin Farm (down the road) will open on Labor Day.

We’ll post again with more details when we open tomorrow but we’re excited to see everyone soon!

Good afternoon! We just want to update everyone on the flower farm’s opening date.

We had a wet spring with cool conditions, so planting was a bit delayed this year. The veggies and flowers are looking good with some recent rains, but they do need a little time to mature—and that will allow us time to make sure our market and sunflower trail are ready too!

Our tentative opening date for this year is Thursday, July 23rd.

Once we open for the season, we’ll be open daily from 10am until dusk. We have a different layout and some additions this year that we’re excited to share with you.

Looking forward to a great season of cut flowers, the sunflower trail, and fresh, delicious produce.
