I hope that this message finds you in good health and wellbeing. As most people know Campbell Farm Meats was started in 2013 as a 4-H project of mine and flourished into something much more than we had expected. Over the past seven years, there has been countless life lessons and many long-standing relationships created with customers. Each and every transaction and customer interaction has taught me skills that one does not simply learn sitting in a desk. As a family, we have decided that it is time to step away from the Ottawa Farmer’s Market since life will be changing in the upcoming market season. This was a very tough decision to be make, but it happened to present itself with good timing. As many of you know this spring, I will be graduating Ottawa High School and starting a new chapter in life. In the fall, I will be attending Hutchinson Community College where I will be working on an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Fire Science. I would personally like to thank each and every one of you for the impact you have made on my life; in more ways than one.

Father's Day is Sunday even though we are sold out of product, we are still here to help. Check out this recipe to cook up for Dad this weekend!

This could be called beef at its best. A simple rub including chili powder, garlic and brown sugar adds that special touch.
