We have eggs this week!

The girls are on a roll lately and we have plenty of eggs fresh out of the coop!

If you need eggs here’s your chance to get them! Look at those golden yolks 😍

Well it’s no bumper crop but it looks like we will have peaches in JULY!

Peaches are just one of those crops where it’s truly a gamble every year. But on the years where we do have them it makes it worth the wait!

CSA shares will receive a peck size of fresh peaches with each of their boxes twice a month. 🍑 We should have extras for sale and we will post our hours and open days once we start harvest in July.

We wanted to share the good news with everyone after those cold nights had us on edge waiting to see how our peach crop was affected. Happy to see that some made it through!

We are watching the peachlets and baby apples grow and develop but we are praying for some rain to come along soon!

It looks like we might have a peach season after all! Definitely keeping a close eye on these cute little peachlets 🧡

In other news the apple trees are loaded and we are looking forward to a successful harvest season!

We also added more autumn crisp and Aztec Fuji apple trees to our trellis system this spring, our tomatoes and peppers for the CSA are about to be put in the garden, and we grafted 200 Antique Gold, 100 Spigold, 50 Red Gold, and 50 Fireside Delicious! These little trees are destined for the expansion of our high density trellis system.

UPDATE- All eggs are sold. Have a wonderful Easter everyone!

FLASH SALE ON EGGS! EASTER SPECIAL!

We usually do this once a month to move the eggs we collected during the week because we ONLY sell freshly gathered eggs.
So just in time for Easter we have several dozen eggs ready for pickup today or tomorrow at only $7 for 3 dozen!

All this grafting we’ve been doing has us a few days behind on our egg order post for this weekend!

With Easter coming up we are taking orders for pickups on Saturday April 4 or earlier on in the week with prior arrangements.

Make sure you have enough for deviled eggs, baking recipes, egg salads, and casseroles!

Also, if you saw our apple tree grafting post from yesterday, the correct answer was 200 baby Hoople’s Antique Gold trees!
We have done 50 Fireside Delicious (there are only 2 live FD trees left in the orchard) and we are doing 100 Spigold since the older Spigold trees we have left are dwindling too, and finishing up with 50 Red Gold since we have one huge original tree that somehow still keeps surviving despite all odds!

We do have some mystery apple trees for sale, due to my amazing organization skills they no longer have their marked tags but could be Spigold, Antique Gold, Golden Delicious, Red Gold, Fuji, Gala, or Fireside Delicious. If you’re into surprises, I am selling these trees for $15 a pop. If you’ve bought trees from us in the past or have trees growing from prior grafting classes we would love to see them!

Egg flowers for the official start of spring!

We are opening up egg orders for pickups this Saturday March 28!

We are getting around 12 dozen eggs every week from our hard working hens!

With Easter right around the corner, make sure to stock up for yummy deviled eggs, potato salads, and baked goods for Easter celebrations!

Our 2026 Early bird CSA signups have closed, but we do still have a couple more spots left if you are considering a share for this season!

We are doing signups for $500, or offering payment plans at $125 nonrefundable deposit and then $125 each month paid up through the month of June.

Thank you to everyone who has locked in their shares so far, your support has allowed us to begin our peppers, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, and added to our laying flock, along with purchasing fertilizer, feed, and orchard management supplies for this season. YOU have kept US moving forward and able to continue to farm as we navigate changes to improve and expand into the future!
