Turns out we have a hen laying double yolks now, my kids were excited when they cracked an egg open for breakfast and saw a two for one!

We harvested the first spring mix of the season today!
Baby kale and baby arugula with romaine lettuce is ready for our CSA customers if interested!

While we haven’t officially started our CSA season pickups yet, we were excited to share the first harvest of the season with our customers who supported us through the CSA venture this year!

Please send us a message or respond to any messages sent if you are interested in a 1 or 2 lb bag of the spring mix this week! 🥬

4 dozen eggs available this week!

Our apple and peach trees have been loving all the rain. We did lose an old mulberry tree to the wind storm the other evening, and a branch on the top of the pear tree below off too. We will be cleaning that up for a few days.

We also used this opportunity to sink the ground anchors in for the high density trellis. Cory has been working hard to get the tools and equipment for that installed so we can start hooking the trees up to the trellis.

Egg sales have significantly slowed down the last 2 weeks so I need to have a flash sale for this weeks eggs.

The girls are on a roll lately and we have plenty of eggs fresh out of the coop!

Well it’s no bumper crop but it looks like we will have peaches in JULY!

Peaches are just one of those crops where it’s truly a gamble every year. But on the years where we do have them it makes it worth the wait!

CSA shares will receive a peck size of fresh peaches with each of their boxes twice a month. 🍑 We should have extras for sale and we will post our hours and open days once we start harvest in July.

We wanted to share the good news with everyone after those cold nights had us on edge waiting to see how our peach crop was affected. Happy to see that some made it through!

It looks like we might have a peach season after all! Definitely keeping a close eye on these cute little peachlets 🧡

In other news the apple trees are loaded and we are looking forward to a successful harvest season!

We also added more autumn crisp and Aztec Fuji apple trees to our trellis system this spring, our tomatoes and peppers for the CSA are about to be put in the garden, and we grafted 200 Antique Gold, 100 Spigold, 50 Red Gold, and 50 Fireside Delicious! These little trees are destined for the expansion of our high density trellis system.
