There is quite a difference in size when dealing with duck eggs! They are significantly larger, so that means we have to use special egg containers that can accommodate that size difference. If you have bought from us before and want to buy more, bring us back the container (if it's in good condition) for $1 off your next dozen!

People often ask what to do with a duck egg. The answer is simple: the same as with any chicken egg! Fry it, boil it, poach it, or scramble it! They have a larger much richer yolk! Duck eggs have more magnesium, calcium, iron, vitamin B12, vitamin A, thiamin, etc. per 100 grams than chicken eggs. We will be bringing a couple of our oldest and sweetest ducks on Monday at the Overbrook Farmer's market from 4-6pm. Come see them (and give them a treat 😉) and get some duck eggs to try for yourself!

Ducks eggs can come in many colors, and here at Pure Eggcellence we have 6 different breeds of ducks! Our eggs come in an assortment of white, charcoal/gray, and blue/green!

You can cook duck eggs just like chicken eggs and will find that they have a creamier, richer taste. Some people prefer them deviled or in omelets or quiches, as they have a stronger flavor than chicken eggs when eaten plain.
