Good day Heber-Overgaard,

Still working on the new space! Most of the work has been "invisible" so not much to show but nearly done with drywall, wiring complete, flooring in and baseboards caulked, just need to get the 2" p trap and 15ish feet of drain ran and 15ft of 3/4" pex ran, crimped in and were ready to make some pizza, soups, sandwiches, shakes and more!

Did the Bagel loaves i referred to intrigue you!?

I have made a 10oz loaf for slicing and tasting and a 20oz loaf for direct sale*, they are a "cinnamon bagel loaf", $5 for a 20oz loaf, $3 for a 10oz loaf, $7 for a custom loaf(fruit, nuts, oats, seasoning or anything else you can think)
I personally eat it toasted with either cream cheese or frosting
If you wish to try it or buy a loaf message me to make an order or find when I'll be in bison ranch to grab a slice to taste before buying.

*Henry Makes @ Home, this product was produced in a home kitchen not subject to public health inspection and may come into contact with common food and pet allergens.

Update on the kitchen: floor drain plumbing and pex are the main remaining parts to get done.
I think 2 more weeks before inspection can be requested unless i magically get this all done faster.

I do plan to have it open ASAP, if that's with just some pre-packaged foods or cottage food law based home made foods for a short period, so keep an eye out for the updates!

One item i am capable of making for cottage foods and am adding to my menu once open is a "sliced bagel loaf" bread i will be making in house, dense and chewy as a bagel but in a sliced bread form, i will sell whole sliced loaves or slices on a sandwich or cream cheese covered etc. they are really tasty.

I hope to have this done within the month but at this point I am focusing a bit more on hourly work for a few to keep the flow going.

progress! started a small section of the floor to see what it looks like after getting a lot of the drywall up, still need to paint and texture etc but i gave up doing that before the flooring at this point, i can clean the floors after 😁
the concrete and epoxy customer service counter i made is back up and a little higher( sorry to the little ones that loved to see over the counters and watch the shakes made)

I appreciate all of the supportive comments, even if i dont get a chance to respond to them i see them. im kicking my own butt trying to get this done ASAP.

Making progress!
Had to remove the door i installed before and recut a larger new one in because I didn't check if the equipment would fit through the door way lol
All framing is done and now electrical and plumbing before drywall and paint, then i can do the flooring and I'll be ready for inspection.
I would love to have an espresso machine and ice machine but that seems like it will have to wait for now however i will have drinks available and they will change while i gauge demands.

Thank you for the support and encouragement as i push to complete this transition! Hope to have things done early may and open!

The new location is a mess! But it's making progress!

Just today the carpet out, the floors prepped for sealing, door frame removed and a new doorway started, sealing a doorway to make a counter height wall to mount my counter top to.
Still waiting for flooring on the 22nd, I'll keep posting updates as things get done!

Closed for the time being, We are working on the new location and are awaitign materials for the flooring.
There is a hope and expectation that we can be open early may!

The new space will be on the pond side of the building near wild women still within bison ranch
the images are my plan for the space, i will be opening with just the service counter andhave to add chairs and tables after the fact.

I look forward to getting back into my kitchen and serving those sandwiches, pizzas and shakes that were loved!

You still have time to stop in over the coming days to grab your favorites and spend a little time with us before this chapter comes to a close. ☕🍕

This past year and a half has been an unforgettable experience. The support from this community has meant everything to me. Many of you were encouraging and helping even before there was a kitchen to open, and I truly could not have done this without you. ❤️

⚠️ As we move toward closing, we will be **selling through our current inventory and will not be restocking items**. Menus may change as items run out, and we will keep **updated menus posted** so you know what’s available each day.

I am actively working to find the right next home for Henry Makes. here are the locations I have already explored:

• Space near Pie in the Pines — no updates yet
• Next to Bread of Life — recently reached out, waiting to hear back
• Old quilt shop next to Ace — no response so far
• Unit 1 near the Heber Post Office — startup cost too high / possible drain limitations
• Former sausage shop next to Dollar General — the building still needs significant work before it could open in a reasonable timeframe

I especially want to thank Adam that just started to get the former sausage shop location up and running. He has been genuinely supportive and willing to help however he can. When he is fully set up, I highly recommend stopping in to check out what he is doing — ive tried his italian sausage and it is awesome.

Thank you to everyone who has already offered ideas or space. If you know of other commercial locations that might be a fit, please reach out. I have equipment ready and am hoping to reopen as soon as possible, even if there is a short break.

This isn’t the end — just the credits rolling before the Respawn™ 😉.
