It's finally here, our Green River Wheated Full Proof Bourbon MDL pick! A lot of you have been waiting for it's release, and the time has come.

This has to be the best $60 wh***ey in the store and I think our best pick to date. It's been a long wait, but it was worth it. I believe we're the first to launch it in the state, and I really took my time picking this one with the staff.

Also, the barrel was named FTW for a couple reasons. It is a "For The Win" release, but ask me sometime how the name really came about. It's gotten some chuckles.

Also, as you walk in, you may notice some construction happening. Oh, the sound of progress! That'll be another announcement, but good things, all around.

We have holiday hours today (Sept 7th), open until 8PM.

Happy Labor Day! Take a moment to look around and appreciate everything we have from the work of laborers. Everyone has a role, but someone has to roll up their sleeves and do the physical work. If not for them, we wouldn't have any of this.

Pop a bottle, fire up a grill, take a moment to relax. Especially if you're a laborer. You earned it. Thanks for everything you do.

Major clearance sales going on! We have to clear some space for some construction work and resets (lots of stuff coming up, including some fun announcements, so stay tuned). Because we need the space to work, we're closing out tons of stuff to make room for things to come.

Celebrate a great 250th with some wonderful American spirits!

First off, our barrel of Yellowstone Bottled-in-Bond 7yr, 250th Anniversary Edition came in! We picked this one specifically for it's exceptional balance. I'm a big fan of BiBs, and I think you will probably be, as well.

I thought it was fitting to have a bonded bourbon for the 250th B-Day of the US, since it is a legal guarantee of quality (going back to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897). Single distiller at the same distillery, no additives, four years aged minimum, exactly 100 proof, all made in one season. This was one of the first consumer protection laws in the US (rectifiers were adding all sorts of sketchy things, like iodine). A bonded wh***ey has a seal of safety (not really an issue anymore, but good to have) and quality (zero additives, no coloring, just natural oak aging...lesser blended American whiskies are allowed up to 2.5% of volume), and is an American tradition that I hope sticks around.

We also got our limited allocation of the very hard to find XII% beers, specifically Fat Orange Cat "Weekend at Kitties" and Evil Twin Woody's Orange Cream Ale!

Our Four Roses MDL single barrel is in OESO, low rye, O yeast (fruit and flavor forward) at 59.1%. We're super happy with this one and sure you will be too. Snag some and give it a spin! Gone when it's gone. But with all things, fun is fleeing.
