Never buy sugar cookies again - seriously 😋

These are so easy, and delicious! Just in time for all of the holidays!

Over the next few weeks I’m going to share some of my favorite recipes with you.

My hope is that no one will try to profit off of them, and you will take these recipes and enjoy baking with your family!

PS - this is also my recipe for cookie cakes 😋 if I can bake them, you can too!

A few more tips:
• I measure out 2 oz of dough for my minis, and 4 oz of dough for my regular size cookies.
•My favorite pans are half sheet pans from Sam’s!
•To bake a cookie cake, spread all of the dough onto a half sheet pan (always use parchment paper) and bake 15 minutes or until no longer shiny on top (this varies by oven) then decorate with your favorite buttercream!

Dear Cookie Cottage customers,

After much prayer and reflection, I have made the decision to close my home bakery. This journey has been a beautiful blessing - filled with flour, sugar, and so much love from each of you who have supported me along the way.

The Lord has not so gently laid it on my heart that it is time for me to step away and refocus my attention. As fulfilling as this business has been, I’ve come to realize that the time and energy it requires pulls me away from many other aspects of my life.

This decision was not made lightly. I am deeply grateful for every order, every kind word, and every shared celebration that you’ve allowed me to be a part of. It has been an honor to serve you and to be a small part of your special moments.

I will continue taking orders through September of 2025, and then The Cookie Cottage will be closed. Don’t worry, if you have already placed an order for October - I still have you down!

Though this chapter is closing, I carry with me so many sweet memories and deep gratitude. Thank you for your love, support, encouragement, and for making this dream possible for the past 3 years.
