After a small break from posting we're back checking on the pigs in the front pasture. The Winter Barley is just about past the milk stage and the Crimson Clover looks beautiful!

Last load of hogs until August/September! Half of them loaded easy, the other half not so much. We don't have corrals or a chute catch system so it can be frustrating sometimes. 😅

These piglets could sleep through anything! After they nurse you'll see them running around for a bit and then they crash out! Just a couple more weeks with momma ❤️

Hope everyone has been enjoying their Memorial Day weekend! We're out in Laingsburg today at the yearly classic car show. They had a good turnout here! It is hosted at our friend's church, St. Isidores's in town.

While we all are enjoying this sunny day, I'm reminded on how this is possible. Without our veterans and servicemen life would be much different. They made a sacrifice so that we can have the freedoms that we do today. We are so thankful for them! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Snuck up on the pigs! They didn't see me coming out with breakfast. Pigs are very cautious and skeptical animals 😆

Moved this group of pigs onto fresh pasture. The area they are leaving will be turned into this year's garden so the hut needed to be moved. Our goal one day is to have a big pasture water that can be dragged around with them too.

Until now we've only advertised and marketed through Facebook, where we started growing our business and online presence. It's been a pleasure being able to connect with the local community and those who choose to support us.
