Sometimes the hardest thing a trainer can do is not step in.

Could I tighten that cinch faster? Absolutely.

But confidence isn’t built when adults do everything for kids. It’s built in the moments they try, struggle, problem-solve, and eventually succeed on their own.

Will they make mistakes? Of course.

That’s where learning happens.

Every independent horseman starts as a kid reaching just a little too high, trying something that feels just a little too hard. 💜

Sold by the 1/4, 1/2 or whole. We offer high-quality, homegrown freezer beef from our small herd of cattle (yes, that’s really our herd in the picture ☺️). We take great pride in the care of our animals and we think the effort shows in the end product. Once you buy straight from the farmer, you won't go back!

Approximate price?
As of 5/15/26 our price is $5.00/lb hanging weight. A 1/4 will be 200-250lbs of hanging weight. So that's $1,000-$1,250 paid to Fabus Farms. You'll then pay the butcher for processing upon pick up. That is approximately $0.75/lb.

A $100 deposit is required to hold your spot. The remainder will be due after processing.

As someone who loves to share...loves to write...loves to post...I've been at a loss of how to truly gather up what this past week meant for the Fabus Farms YEDA team.

We traveled to the gorgeous Virginia Horse Center for the 10th Annual YEDA - Youth Equestrian Development Association, Inc Nationals. This was our first year as a team and of course our first Nationals. The week was a dream! We had many highs, and just a few lows to keep us humble and hungry. Overall the week was a dream! I can't stress enough how much I appreciate YEDA as an organization. It's filled with forward-thinking, welcoming, and supportive coaches and staff. The likes of which I've never experienced in any organization I've been involved with. The Fabus Farms team most definitely made an impact, in and out of the arena. I'm so proud to lead these young equestrians and the future of our team is looking BRIGHT 😎
