📝 COACH (noun)

1. A person who sees potential before it becomes progress.
2. Someone who celebrates the little victories, believes through the setbacks, and cares just as much about the person as the rider.
3. The one standing on the sidelines, holding their breath, crossing their fingers, and being just as proud of the journey as the destination.

2.-10. Refer to Step 1

What’s my favorite part about coaching? Progress. 💙

It’s not perfect rides, or ribbons earned.

It’s watching a rider do something today that they couldn’t do yesterday. It’s the little lightbulb moments, the confidence that slowly builds, watching a student apply something that we've been practicing in late nights at the barn.

It’s watching the hard work start to click. Seeing a rider (and their parents) trust the process, work through the frustrating days, and come out the other side.

The ribbons are great. The wins are fun. But watching these kids grow as riders and as people? That’s the good stuff. And that’s what keeps me doing this. 🥹
