Orders are rolling in for our new street-side banner fundraising campaign! This recently ordered banner features one of Central NY’s oldest and most iconic family farms. Founded in 1833, Mount View Farms, LLC is a sixth-generation century farm proudly operated by Ryan and Ellen Eastman Smith. Today, the family business includes three ventures that serve both residents and visitors alike: Mount View Farms producing corn, soybeans, wheat, hay, and straw; The Pumpkin Stand, a beloved fall destination featuring over 8 acres of U-Pick pumpkins, hayrides, and a family-friendly corn maze; and Hearth & Harvest, Ovid's hometown general store offering a self-serve coffee bar, ready-to-eat meals, local groceries, and unique home décor. Self-serve prices for hay and straw at the farm:

1st Cut Hay: $6 per bale
Straw (wheat): $5 per bale

If you are looking for 2nd cut, please contact Ryan.

Reminders, we accept check, cash or venmo at our self serve. Ryan's cell phone number is also posted on the price sheet.

Just a little update, since we haven't done one in a year. 😀 I think we are all excited for a little spring weather! I know we are! Baler is getting a rehaul this winter. Lets hope it works well for the guys in the field this summer!

Wheat harvest has finally begun! we’ve been blessed with plenty of rain this year, much more than last year, but it has certainly delayed wheat harvest. Here are some
Pictures from yesterday, getting in as many acres as we can before more rain! If harvest gets delayed too long, the wheat can sprout in the field, and quality degrades quickly. So the race is on!
