🤎🤠It’s a BOY🤠🤎

Elowyn had a little surprise for us!
According to her pregnancy test, she wasn't due until the fall... well, that turned out to be wrong! 😅
I started noticing a few key changes, so I moved her into the maternity pasture. Sure enough, just a few days later, she gave us this incredible little blessing.
Every once in a while, a baby is born with an extra special story to tell. This little guy carries on a meaningful legacy for our farm in so many ways.
He is the son of Levi, a son of our beloved herd sire, Meadows. Watching Meadows' legacy continue through another generation is something we'll never take for granted. We are truly thankful to Levi's family for trusting us and allowing us to create this special pairing with our beautiful Elowyn, who has been with us since she was just a baby.
Another special connection is that he is the grandson of our sweet Willow. Willow's time with us was far too short, as she passed away very shortly after Levi was born. It was absolutely heartbreaking, and I couldn't bring myself to share that news at the time. Nature can be so cruel sometimes. While we'll always miss Willow, there's comfort in knowing that a part of her lives on through this precious new baby!
And precious he is... this little cutie arrived with the fluffiest ears, the tallest cowboy boots, and the happiest, bounciest little personality. We couldn't be more excited about him!
One more thing making his story extra special…he’ll be joining a returning family who has welcomed calves from us in the past. There is no greater compliment than having families come back for another calf. I am honored they chose this amazing baby to join their farm family. He is going to be smothered with love and cherished every single day of his life, which makes me immensely grateful! His new family has given him the most perfect name!
