One day when I was out walking, a neighbour was getting rid of her 1978 KitchenAid mixer. It has been in my home for four years and I use it almost daily. This evening made some not-very-pretty gooey chewy fudge brownies from scratch. Delicious. ♥️

My crust is … interesting and there’s more Baby Swiss in this “spinach quiche” than is probably allowed, but I had to use up my eggs and cheese. There is spinach in there, I promise! I haven’t done a cold water crust in years, so this was good practice. It taste just fine even though it’s not the prettiest thing after the blind bake. 😂😂 this will accompany some “rooster soup“ and dumplings for dinner tonight. ♥️🐓

It felt like 27° this morning in Central Florida, which is odd for us! ❄️ I work from home and the grandbaby is home sick from school, so I’m reheating some “rooster soup” for dinner tonight. 😉 Also made some blueberry muffins.




The pond has been graded - pups approve. We’ll stock it with fish to eat mosquitoes.
