🐷We are opening up reservations for half or whole hog shares! This is a wonderful way to fill your freezer with cuts of your choosing! But spots are limited!🐷
Our hogs will be going in for processing early November 2026. They are conventionally & naturally-raised, hormone & antibiotic free. We are continuing to charge by hanging weight, as we feel that this ends up being more fair for the consumer. This focuses more on the product that is left, after processing. We plan to charge $2.15/lb hanging weight.
The hogs will weigh approximately 250 pounds, at time of processing. We are asking for an upfront, non-refundable deposit ($75 for half & $150 for whole) paid to us, to hold your share. Please note that this does not include processing fees though. We will haul the hogs to the locker plant & after receiving hanging weights, we’ll contact you & you can pay the remainder due to us, at that time. Fees for processing can be paid directly to the processor at time of pick-up.
Processing fees will vary, depending upon the cuts & packaging chosen. Dutch Valley & Jones Meat & Locker are both really great at walking you through the cut sheet & quoting fees ahead of time. Meat will be held until final payment to us is received.
