M3 Bee Farm LLC is owned and operated by Mike Landry of Owasso Oklahoma. I am not sure how the desire to get two honeybee colonies in 2012 to start a hobby for my upcoming retirement turned into a full-scale operation with over 100 colonies. I certainly was not looking to get into the honeybee business, but sometimes in life, you find something that ignites an excitement, an enthusiasm that takes

a life of its own. This beekeeping hobby has turned into a passion to saving bees. Not only do I sell honey, raise healthy bees, and rescue bees, I am an instructor for Beginning beekeepers and a member of the Northeastern Oklahoma Bee Association (NEOBA) and several other Bee Clubs / organizations. The last few years have been a whirlwind of long days and nights, bee stings, and heavy lifting, but that’s beekeeping. This is a Veteran Owned, Veteran supporting operation in Northeastern Oklahoma. A portion of all honey sales goes to the “Coffee Bunker” a non-profit organization that supports local veterans. We offer local raw unfiltered honey, creamed honey, bee pollen, beeswax products and swarm rescue. Our bees forage on wildflowers on pastures and lands throughout Northeastern Oklahoma. If you’re local to us and would like to have honeybees on your property, contact me. The property needs to be secure and easily accessible, have a natural water source, clear of pesticide chemicals, and be able to support a min of 8 hives. We will trade honey for a safe flowering field the honeybees can pollinate.

Sometimes your hives can get to much pollen in the frames and it reduces the laying capacity of the queen. So I will pull those frames and replace them with open drawn comb. Here’s how I handle the pollen frames. I soak them on water for 4 day and then rinse the pollen out
