Yep.... it's counselor time again. Tonight I made some hard cuts in our program because I'm not getting the freedoms desired in offspring. This is needed when you want to continue to improve not only your stock but also your breed.

It's that time of year again! The kids have about 6 weeks until the county fair goat show. Grow little does....grow!

AJ completely surprised coming back from the Best In Show table with Reserve in Show for Show 3 today! I was writing for the specialty show and missed out on the announcement. This 6-8 blue doe was one point today!

Who says motherhood skin to skin stops with human babies?!? I'm not holding my chest to be weird (although my husband would joke and say I'm still weird).... I'm holding 3 newborn baby bunnies against my chest to warm them up. Momma Ellie did everything right but her kits didn't crawl to the back of the box where she made a nice fur nest. One or 2 more hours and these newborns would be gone.

Heading to north TX for our national Satin rabbit show. Only part of the crew going because we aren't taking the trailer to keep animals cooler.

These little ones got to be cuddled by human littles this morning! We work hard to socialize our babies so they behave in a show table later.
