📢 Looking for a part time barn hand to clean only on the weekends! 📢 This will be a very part time position, please read the details below:
Our wonderful weekend employee is having to leave us soon! So, we are looking to hire someone asap. When the weather is nice, we leave the horses outside 24/7. However, when it’s super crazy hot the horses come in during the day and the stalls need to be cleaned. So some weekends, you’ll only come to feed the herd, and others the stalls will need to be cleaned out.

🐴 Blue Sky Stables - on S Green Mountain Road in Owens Cross Roads

Days Needed:
🗓️ Saturday and Sunday - AM and PM
Hours:
⌚️Arrive at 7:00am, usually takes me 2 hours to finish the job when the stalls need to be cleaned.
Duties:
🐴 Turning the herd in/out
🐱 Feeding 6 horses and 3 cats
🧹 Cleaning 6 stalls, lifting & cleaning heavy water buckets, sweeping barn isle, and tack room floors
Ideal Candidate:
✅ Someone dependable that will take their time to get the job done right.
✅ Has experience with horses, farm chores, and will be kind to all animals on the property.
✅ Super important to show up consistently - we depend on our employees to be here on time and the days scheduled for.
✅ Lives within 30 minutes of the Owens Cross Roads area.
Pay:
💰 Starting at $45 for each time you clean stalls.
-When you come just to feed or turn out
without cleaning: PM turn out/feeding is
$20, AM turn in/feeding is $25
