Our employee of the month for December is Ryan Krampe. Ryan is in 7th grade at Owensboro Catholic Middle School. During his free time he enjoys hunting with his dad and brother and helping on the farm. Here you can see him smashing to***co down with his boots to make a bale.

As we are finally done cutting to***co and beginning to strip it, I believe it’s necessary to take some time to acknowledge the wonderful group of people we have that work at Krampe farms. Without them, and many like them, the world wouldn’t eat and it is often a thankless job filled. So we at Krampe farms would simply like to say, thank you.

Finally getting some green beans out of the garden, about 60 pounds to be exact. It’s always nice to see results, especially with the responsibility a garden brings. Thanks to all of the family for helping out, Reisz, Riley, Ryan, Rachel, Bernie, and Cindy.

With recent demonization and misinformation on agricultural matters, we believe the best place to get information is from the source. After all, we want to be the ones telling agriculture’s story, not someone who’s never set foot on a farm. We look forward to sharing our story with you, and hope to foster an appreciation for an often hidden and under appreciated sector of the world.
