M&T Farms

A charming, nostalgic B&B on a working dairy farm in the rolling hills of beautiful Gasconade County Renovating a limestone house that was built in 1871.

We are putting in a professional dairy barn and we will make cheese on site. The house will become a 4 bedroom and 4 bath bed and breakfast. Doing the research to get the farm on the national historic reg. So the folks that built the house are Francis William and Wihelmina C. (Gehner) Brinkmann. Francis was born in Prussia in 1820 and came to the US in 1849, the same year he married Wilhelmina. He

was a farmer and carried produce to St. Louis, later in his life he lived at third creek where he built a stone house. He died in 1874 after completion of the stone house. This guy built a farm up from nothing to 700 acres, he and his wife had 10 children, a full life would you not say! (from Goodspeeds History published in 1888 page 1077)
