Happy Feature Friday! This week, our featured product is our very own pasture raised ground goat. Goat is somewhat of a superfood: it contains just as much protein as other red meats, but it is lower in fat and cholesterol and higher in iron, vitamin A, and vitamin B12. Despite being a staple in most other parts of the world, goat meat is a hard to find delicacy in the United States. We are proud to raise all of our goats on silvopasture right here in the northern Adirondacks.

A lot of you have been asking about when we will have more fudge, and we promise it’s coming! This past week keeping the store full of product was a bit challenging, as we were busy helping our son prepare for the fair. We are a very active 4-H and homeschooling family, and we also both farm full-time. Fudge takes a full day to make, so as soon as we have a chance, we will make some more! We did a big restock today, so we have plenty of honey, beef, ice cream, etc. on hand. Thanks for your patience as we work to catch up. We appreciate all of you!😁

This Friday's featured product is brand new to the store! We have teamed up with our farmers' market neighbors, Running Roots Farm, to source speciality garlic varieties for you all. Currently, we have German Red in stock, which is a medium-hot variety that can be eaten raw, sautéed, or roasted. Running Roots Farm is located in Morrisonville and is owned and operated by our dear friends, Lucas and Amanda, who are experts on all things mushrooms and microbes. They are a young, growing regenerative farm, and we look forward to bringing more of their products into our space in the future.
