We’re sad to share that Blueberry Hill will be closed for picking this year due to the freeze damage from Ice Storm Fern. This storm took a toll on our bushes and unfortunately has shocked most of them which has kept them from producing berries that we are proud of.

We are grateful for your continued support, understanding, and encouragement-it truly means a lot to our family.

The good news: blueberries are resilient, and so are we. We’re already working hard to take care of Blueberry Hill preparing for a better season next year.

What a beautifully devastating storm we experienced.

We didn’t observe any visible damage to the blueberry bushes and are hopeful for a bountiful season later this spring.

Every single year the berries are ready to pick until they just aren’t anymore.

We had a great season in 2025 and we are so thankful for each person who came and saw us this year.

Unfortunately with the excess rain and high temps, we are choosing to close the picking down for this season. The berries are just sparse and they will be turning soft.

We hope you enjoyed them this year and we look forward to seeing you next year!!!

Tips for picking this time of year.

1. Look at the hourly forecast and plan to pick during the coolest parts of the day. Typically 6 AM-830 AM or 6 PM-8 PM.

2. Wear a wide brim hat and long loose sleeves.

3. Keep plenty of iced fluids available during picking.

4. Eat some blueberries while you pick.
