There's something magical about a New England farmers market in October. The crisp fall atmosphere, the beautiful seasonal colors, and a community coming together to support local farmers, artisans, and small businesses. 🖤

And speaking of local businesses, we're certainly not the only ones bringing something special to the market!

Equivalent Exchange LLC is set up at the Seymour Farmers Market TODAY from 12 PM–6 PM, and judging by our w**e shelves lately… you folks have been keeping the Alchemists VERY busy. 😂

🍷 Our seasonal w**es are officially SOLD OUT!

Yep. All of them. Gone. Vanished. Transmuted into happy customers. 🧙🏾‍♂️✨

But don't panic just yet…

The next round is already working its way through the alchemical process, and a few seasonal w**es should begin returning around the middle of October, including the return of our Hopped Maple Orchard. 🍎🍁🍁

Our Meads are still pouring, though! 🍯

Come by the booth, have a sample, talk fermentation with us, and discover which Mead deserves a place on your table. Whether you're already part of the Equivalent Exchange family or you've never tried Mead before, today is a mighty fine day to change that.

🌧️🍷 RAIN? WIND? PLEASE. WE’RE ALCHEMISTS. 🍯⚗️

Equivalent Exchange LLC is at the New Canaan Farmers Market TODAY from 10 AM–2 PM!

Now, Mother Nature apparently woke up and chose violence. 😂 Between the rain and the wind, we’ve decided not to set up the tent today. We like our canopy, and we’d prefer not to watch it achieve flight over New Canaan.

But are we leaving?

Absolutely not.

Today we’re going a little old-school...

🚗🍾 We’re selling straight out of the back of the car like some prohibition-era bootleggers.

"Psst... hey buddy... wanna buy some mead?" 😂

If you’re already out and about, stop by, find us, grab a bottle, and show some love to the other amazing vendors who braved the weather with us. The market may look a little different today, but the goods are still flowing and the Alchemists are still working. ⚗️🍷

A Long Day in the Meadery, and We Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way! 🍯🍷

Some days are spent pouring bottles. Other days are spent making sure there’s something worth pouring into them. Today is definitely the latter. 😅

We’ve been putting in a serious production day at Equivalent Exchange LLC, processing and pasteurizing Hopped Maple Orchard, while preparing Traditional Mead and Drengr’s Blood Mead for pasteurization.

Fermentation, transfers, temperature checks, cleaning, and a whole lot of patience. It’s not always the glamorous side of the business, but it’s the part that keeps the magic moving from the fermenter to your table. 🧪✨

And honestly? This is what we live for.

Every bottle represents hours of work, careful attention, and a little bit of stubbornness. We’re building something we’re proud to share, one batch at a time.

So if you’ve been wondering what keeps those bottles on the table, here’s your answer: long production days, good ingredients, and a whole lot of love for the craft. ❤️
