We couldn’t be more proud to be a part of such an amazing group! Pastured Place makes our job very easy!
We've found ourselves reflecting on all we have to be grateful for as Thanksgiving approaches, and the list is long. 2025 marks our third full year of operation, and, due in no small part to the support of this budding community, we're finding our footing, discovering where/how we fit into the bigger picture of Thoroughbred aftercare. Many people have helped us through that process and stuck with us through the growing pains. Here are just a few we're giving thanks for this year:
🏠 The adopters who have taken 27 Pastured Place grads into their hearts and homes over the last three years. We're honored that they chose to become part of our extended family.
👛 The donors who supported us and our mission with their hard-earned money, a difficult thing to do even in the best of times. Their faith in us has been truly humbling.
📻 The OTTB on Tap crew, who believed in us from the start and continue to help us get our name out there. We'll never have the words to tell them how much their support and friendship mean to us.
🏆 Chelsey, Amy, Bryn, Sydney, and Kirsten, the trainers who treated our horses as their own and helped each one shine. It's been an incredible year, and we have their belief in the Thoroughbred to thank for it.
📣 Lindy Clark and her team at Six M Farm, who hold down the fort and look after our sanctuary herd. Many of our golden oldies have made it to their ripe ages thanks to Lindy's watchful eye, and she has always been our number one cheerleader.
🏅 Ali Rawles and the whole Meadow Spring Farm crew, who have gone above and beyond in their efforts on behalf of our adoptable horses. Their ability to meet horses where they are as individuals and sniff out their passion in life is second to none. Every successful adoption is a credit to them.
💚 And you, the one reading this post right now, and every last person who followed, shared, liked, read, viewed and clicked. Every action, no matter how small, helps us help Thoroughbreds, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
