Hi Oxford Farm Community! If you’ve been to our last few markets, you’ve probably already had us ask you if you wanted to join us in Breaking Free From Plastic?!
This year Oxford College Farm received an amazing opportunity from Emory’s Office of Sustainability to join the “Break Free From Plastic Pledge”.
This initiative sponsors campus organizations in reducing their use of single use plastics in day to day operations.
In support of this initiative, Oxford College Farm will be giving away free branded tote bags to our market customers in exchange for a pledge to break free from single use plastics! If you bring your own reusable tote to shop with us, you may also receive a coupon for a discount on your next purchase. While supplies last of course. 😊 Visit us at Oxford Farmer’s Market on Thursdays or Covington Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.
Swipe to see how many of our community members pledged by signing our banner designed by our summer student interns!
If you would also like to pledge (and we hope you do), visit the link in our bio to make yours! We also have a toolkit available to educate our community on the harms of single use plastics and how you can protect yourself! Additionally, you can learn how the farm breaks free from single use plastics.
