**Due to personal scheduling conflicts, BHA will only be hatching BYMs if/when hens become broody. I will always have fertile BYM eggs available. Any available birds will be posted on the FB page but I suggest reaching out to The Fancy MotherCluckers for any/all chick needs.

Very sad news not only in the Veterinary Community but also Personally. Many people may not know that before becoming a totally awesome chicken lady 😜 I spent over a decade as a Veterinarian Technician doing everything from health visits, radiology, chemo, dentals to anesthesia and surgery. It was nothing less then a pleasure working under Dr Glicker and learning. My thoughts and prayers are with her young adult kids this time.

With broken hearts, we are deeply saddened to share the very unexpected and untimely passing of Dr. Tracie Glicker.

She was a dedicated veterinarian, a trusted colleague, and a compassionate presence to so many people and animals in our community.

This week, the business will be operating with limited hours as we navigate this difficult time. We are working to schedule relief coverage and a permanent plan to continue to care for her clientele. Please have patience with our office as we navigate through this difficult time.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

🥶 😑 Here we got again with “If it’s too cold for you….”

Please know that if you see working cats or dogs outside in the cold weather, as long as they are healthy and well taken care of, the cold does not bother them like us. I get so many message about what do do because someone saw a Livestock dog out doing livestock dog things or why are my barn cats not locked up for the winter….. having a healthy and well prepared winter animal does not start in the winter, it’s year round. Weight of animal, fur, clean and dry shelters, fresh water and food all play a huge factor in the comfort and health of animals in the winter.
What would hurt the animal more it to bring it inside with a dramatic temperature difference and that animal most likely will suffer from over heating.
Please report abuse or neglect but simply seeing a working animal or livestock out side IS NOT neglect or abuse.

🥶 She plunges tomorrow!!!! Leah and her team are excited to announce as of right now they are sitting at the top fundraising team for 2026 Wildwood Plunge with just over $32,000 raised!!!! If you are interested and able to support this great cause, donations are accepted I til 12 pm tomorrow. And if you’re crazy enough to plunge yourself, YES there is still time to join the team.

Let’s Go!!!!! Round 2 for Leah and she is hoping to beat last years fundraising amount. All donations go to the Special Olympics Foundation. Her Team, The Aloha Avengers are looking to be the top fundraising team for the 2026 Wildwood Plunge.
