Blueyah is all done for the season. We’re sorry it was such a short one this year — the crop was small, and there simply weren’t many berries to pick. Thank you to everyone who visited, hoped to visit, or continues to cheer on our little farm. We’re grateful for your support and understanding.

Our friends at Connorridge Farms are hosting a 5K on their prairie this summer! The best thing about this (in our opinion) is getting to hang out with the wonderfully creative, generous, and brilliant Georgina, Jack, Connie, Michael, Trillian, and Jadzia.

This is Aslan. We have a small group ("clowder"!) of barn cats, and Aslan is the only male. He roams between our house and the neighboring properties. We see him once every couple of weeks, and he always looks kind of battered. (He's missing an ear, hobbles, usually has lots of scratches...) We'd like to catch him and bring him to the vet for treatment, but it's impossible. We've tried. He's wild. Is there anything we can do for a cat like this other than feed him when he comes around? This might just be his best life, such as it is.
