Wow! What a crazy month we have had with the beginning of school, college move in, and just life! We are still here and working hard. We’ve picked what seems like millions of beans and tomatoes. I’ve canned dozens of jars of salsa, pasta sauce and roasted tomatoes. I’m currently trying to snap and freeze green beans before they turn, but that’s proving hard to do while also holding a job🤣 anyway, this week we will be packing the freezer with lots of pork, and as always, we have beef available to purchase.

What is your favorite thing to make with fresh garden tomatoes? Most of these will be sauce, but I’m looking for other good ideas as well.

Hello to all! I wanted to update while I had a moment. Things have been really chaotic preparing for our fair, which begins on July 26th this year, starting a 2nd job, trying to get some summer time activities in with the kids, and completing some much needed projects.
💥💥However! I wanted to take a second to let you all know that we have some exciting news 🎉 We bought a small building and are moving our retail products into this space in the near future 🛒 With that being said, I would like to offer a huge sale to our supporters. The more meat we sell before the move, the less work we have to do to move it all over to the new space. With that being said, our sale prices will be below. Further, you will find all prices listed are competitive with your local grocer, why not support small, local farms and families with your hard earned dollars??!!

Also worth noting- in the next month we will have more fresh lamb and pork available. If you are interested in a whole lamb or hog, please reach out to me with your questions 🐷🐑🐄

Okay, I was going through videos on my phone to delete and free up some storage. I’m always out of storage! Anyway, came across this video that I sent to my besties after a Goodwill haul 😂 Kennedy said not to post it “because it’s cringey”… so of course I’m posting it.
Who else gets this excited about their thrift store scores?!? Also, the word I’m searching for in this video was a trivet, not “pot holder coasters”😂🤦🏻‍♀️☠️ anyway, hope you get a kick out of this at my expense🤷🏻‍♀️

Okay, sorry for the double post today, but I can’t help it. I cooked our first chicken in the instant pot today and made chicken and dumplings. Thankfully I had left over dough the other night when I made noodles so I cut them into dumplings and had thrown them in the freezer. Maybe the best chicken and dumplings I’ve ever made. I was also able vacuum seal and freeze half of the shredded chicken, and can two jars of broth. We also had cobbler from the strawberries and raspberries we picked yesterday ☺️
