An apology to our friends, neighbors and customers:

By now you’ve no doubt seen the results of our Special Black Friday Wine Special. We are obviously embarrassed and on the advice of counsel we have removed all social media posts concerning the event and work is underway to remove the billboards and other signage.

We absolutely did not want to offend the Lithuanian community or anyone in the affected counties. We also want to be very clear that despite the news reports, none of the animals were harmed and have been moved to a farm sanctuary.

We hope to reopen our Oxon Hill tasting room and logistical hq once we have new doors and windows installed and the smells have been dealt with.

Most importantly, thank you to the police personnel, first responders and animal control officers who acted with the utmost professionalism throughout this ordeal. You are the real heroes of the “Black Friday Incident.”

The reviews are in for our latest offering - “Oxon Hill Vineyards have really done it this time. Their ‘22 Z**i Red compares to an old, long-opened Lancer, with hints of oak, malt liquor and cigarette ash. But it’s still better than any beaujolais nouveau ever made.”
