Bevan Cellars

Bevan Cellars Our philosophy has remained constant since we began in 2005: Uncover potential, create excellence. Uncover potential. Create excellence.

Our philosophy at Bevan Cellars has remained constant since our founding in 2005: the journey is just as important as the outcome. Our goal for each vintage is to seek the thrill of discovery, to source grapes from vineyards that are hidden gems, and to achieve our signature style of intense yet balanced wines while reflecting the origin of the grapes. Our team works with a sustainable approach in

both the vineyards and in the cellar, and it is through this labor-intensive journey that we are re-inspired each vintage to create wines are exciting to enjoy upon release or to cellar for years to come. We live for the thrill of the next discovery and hope you will join us to revel in it. The Best of Napa Valley & Sonoma
We produce two distinct collections of wine, and we’ve left no stone unturned to discover remarkable vineyards that are best suited to the varieties we work with. Our Napa Valley collection includes our small-lot, single-vineyard Bordeaux-inspired wines. Our many years of exploration have led us to some of Napa Valley’s most sought-after appellations, including Oakville, Howell Mountain, Saint Helena, Rutherford, and Stags Leap. Our Sonoma collection is focused on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah, sourced from vineyards in Sonoma Coast, Bennett Valley, Petaluma Gap and Russian River Valley. As our humble beginnings as vintners are rooted in this region, we go to great lengths to source the best fruit that Sonoma County has to offer.

We were honored to spend the evening at WinePAWlooza alongside fellow vintners, supporters, and friends of Jameson Humane. The generosity in the room was remarkable, and we’re grateful to have played a small part in helping support the organization’s work throughout Napa Valley.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Bevan Cellars table and shared the evening with us.

A look at Cabernet Franc from Sugarloaf.

The clusters are taking shape, the canopy continues to expand, and the vineyard is changing week by week. There is no substitute for spending time in the rows.

Some evenings stay with you long after they end, and the 12th Annual JWAS Foundation Wine Dinner is one of them.

We were deeply honored to serve as the 2026 partner and to experience the undeniable sense of love, purpose, and commitment to helping children and their families that defined the evening.

What began from unimaginable tragedy has become a powerful legacy, ensuring that Jaxson William Augustus Swank’s name and spirit continue to impact countless lives. The passion and dedication behind this foundation are truly inspiring.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of something so meaningful. Our hearts are full, and we are truly grateful and blessed to have shared in such a special and memorable evening.

The 2023 Tin Box Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.

Oakville, Napa Valley.

Three stages. One of the most important stretches of the growing season.

Pre-bloom, bloom, post-bloom. The vines flower, pollination occurs, and the clusters begin to take shape. What happens in this window has a direct influence on the concentration and quality of the fruit come harvest.

Nestled in the West Oakville foothills among some of the most storied Cabernet sites in California, True Dog is a family owned vineyard with a pedigree that speaks for itself. Gravelly, well-drained soils and the Mayacama foothills define the character of the Petit Verdot grown here. This is fruit we are proud to work with — an important part of what makes our Ontogeny Red Wine what it is.

A vineyard is more than rows of vines.

It is a living ecosystem. Wildflowers growing between the rows. A dove nesting in the canopy. Life finding its place among the vines. This is what a healthy vineyard looks like — and it is what we work to protect every growing season.

Rocky, volcanic, red soils force the vines to work harder and reach deeper. The result is fruit with concentration, richness, and complexity that simply cannot be manufactured. It has to be earned — one growing season at a time.

Fruit set is complete.

Each of these small Cabernet Sauvignon berries was a flower not long ago. The clusters are formed and the vines will spend the rest of the season doing what they do best — turning sunlight, water, and soil into something worth sharing.

The upper range is looking good.
