Stone Hill Farm

Sharing the current state of flowers in stories, but the short version is….this weather and other pest impacts have been tough on our dahlias and other focal flowers. Not having those focal flowers leaves us without the ingredients we need to make mixed bouquets that maintain the value and beauty that we expect in our product.

We are still crossing our fingers that some upcoming change in weather could bring about more dahlias than we currently have! So we don’t feel ready to close the door fully on 2026 retail, but we will be temporarily closing the Farmstand, unless or until dahlias bounce back.

Please keep an eye on our posts and stories for updates! We certainly hope to have more bouquets to offer before the season is official complete.

Thank you for your support on this wild ride of flower farming. 💛

For Dolly 🦋.

We were so lucky to have you. You were adored by all and you made every person who loved you feel like you belonged to them. What a gift. What a legacy.

You were one of the earliest role models of my life. From the time I was 3 years old, I stood up on a Branson stage and sang your songs every night, for 7 years. Listening to and studying your voice and presence are some of my earliest memories. I became so synonymous with this song to those who knew me that all of my childhood gifts had butterflies on them. What a gift to be surrounded by these harbingers of grace everyday.

Louisa received her first book in the mail just last week! We sat and read it at the breakfast table last week and I could not stop crying as I read. And I couldn’t quite pin point why. But reading your letter to my daughter inside this gifted book, to be sharing with her this icon who has held such a piece of my life and heart. I still can’t put the words to it, but I felt the weight of it deeply.

I love you Dolly, we will miss having you here so much. Thank you for all you’ve given us.

Farmstand will be closed this weekend, 8/14-8/15. It’s hot out there and the flowers and I could use the chance to catch our breath. Enjoy the weekend indoors or in water 🫠. See y’all soon!

This mixed bouquet creation
Vibe: Juicy, summer sunsets, warm

And this bucket load into…

This bouquet creation.
Vibe: Soft summer textures

As long and hot as it was, July always gets away from me. Harvests have been a little more rushed lately, what I get to capture might make it to stories but never makes it to the grid. Diving into the July archives and giving these farm POVs their deserving spot.
