Midnight will come get me and start meowing… I feel like she’s telling me “I need to babysit” 😂 so I follow her and she guides me to her kittens and then leaves… not too far. Just a few feet away where she’s by herself laying…and I’m here, babysitting kittens lol 🥹🥰

She’ll then come back and meow (I’m sure she’s thanking me for my time 🤣😂).

Our Midnight had her kittens last night 🥹 She has 5 healthy and adorable kittens!

Almost cried when seeing she had one just like our Smokey, who passed back in May 🥺

She’s doing an amazing job at being a new mom 🥰 💕

Midnight is due Aug 4th!! So technically, she can have her kittens any day now! We’re so excited!

She has been lying down all day. She barely walks to her bowl of food/water and lies down to eat and drink 😂😅

This is why I ALWAYS check my boots before putting my foot in 🤪 grabbed this beautiful lady out of my boots, with my bare hands because I had no idea she would be in there!. No idea how I didn’t get bitten 🤦🏻‍♀️

This girly has decided to go broody. We saw her about two weeks or so ago and thought she would give up by now with the heat and random rain storms we’ve had at night. But NOPE! She’s still here. So I decided to clean her nest from any plastic and random items she decided to use. Also added some random lawn chairs around her to give her some shade.

She’s sitting on at least 13 eggs!! I couldn’t count because she’s feisty 😅

Moved an entire garden bed to the chickens area so they could stop jumping the fence to do dirt baths 😂 it was a lot of back and forth to get the soil, but I did it.

Facebook reminded me that it’s been 2 years since I created this homestead page. Thank you for the 1k followers 🥰 I’ve personally met a lot of you along the way, and I truly appreciate the support 💕
