LAST Ranch Ozone Mountain Workshop/Bakehouse features Fiber Arts, Metal Work, Functional Upcycling, Baking & GF

Sue Hughes moved to the Ozark Mountains from a working small farm/ranch in North Central Texas. Finally able to spend time creating, LAST Ranch Mountain Workshops and Bakehouse were born. Folk Art, Upcycling, wood and metal working, Fiber Arts, Sweet Treats and more are created at this mountain hideaway. Heavily invested in the community, Sue volunteers with the local fire department, the Ozone Baptist Church and the Extension Homemakers Club.

It's BAKING DAY!!!
ALEXtheBARBER becomes ALEXtheBAKER and gets that dough!

Jalapenos will be roasted.

Aged Cheddar will be shredded by hand.

Beautiful dough will be crafted and worked and rolled on our granite counter.

Order today for pickup tomorrow at the OZONE SCHOOLHOUSE FUNDRAISER!!!

Happy Wednesday!
The bad news:
There is no Market this Saturday.

The GOOD news:
We will be taking orders thru Friday at noon for bread from ALEXtheBARBER!
Mini Loaves
-Jalapeno Cheese bread.........$6

She roasts the Jalapenos to bring out their flavor. (I am in NWA today sourcing additional jalapenos)!!

The cheese is Tillamook Aged Cheddar. It is high quality and has a deep satisfying flavor.

The Farmer's White is her base dough. It is sublime in it's simplicity and requires significant self control to keep from devouring the entire loaf in one sitting. It Pairs beautifully with her Redbud Jelly (Available in a $4 'try me' size, a $7 half pint and a $14 pint while supplies last).

It's Market Day!!!
Come see us on the Courthouse Square! We have TATE'S LOCAL HONEY and PICKLED RADISHES from Pinedale Farm.
We have JALAPENO CHEESE, AGED CHEDDAR, and FARMER'S WHITE mini loaves from ALEXtheBARBER. We have ALOE and COLEUS plants in cute containers! We have crocheted hanging planters! OVEN MITTS! Adorable BALL CAPS!
And there are still a few TOMATOES and some SUMMER SQUASH!
And don't make our crocheted bags, potholders, fidget toys or our custom stamped items.

NO MARKET NEXT Week so come see us by noon or live with the regret until Sep 26...

Another weekend in the books! Saturday's market saw PERFECT weather. Not a lot of foot traffic, but brisk sales of produce and honey! The Jalapeno cheese bread didn't last long.😋 She plans to make more of it for this week's Market. If you want to pre-order your loaf, let me know.
The squash plant is still busy and I am renovating a couple of raised beds for fall planting. I'm thinking acorn and butternut squash. 😊 The volunteer pumpkin plants survived summer's heat and have BLOOMS! I'm so excited to see which pumpkins they will be...
Also getting ready for Fall Cleaning and will put the washable swiffers to good use. There is wood EVERYWHERE in this house and they are the perfect tool to oil it all before winter to keep it from drying out. I love citrus oil for this. It makes the house smell so good!
