What a wonderful time we had at the Tri County Toys for Tots Fun Day and Market!
We set up early in a primo corner spot by the memorial gazebo. Markus_T entertained right behind us, donating his time and his tips to Toys for Tots!
We sold a bunch of locally grown, dried & canned produce from Pinedale Farm!
It was a chilly morning and we had crochet hats from SokTime that were put to immediate use. We are down to the last 2, but she will make more soon!
The secret ingredient Rice Crispy Treats from LastRanch Bakehouse were a hit!
We made some money, made some friends, and bartered riddles and stories for products and discounts.
A few of my faves:
What do you call a pig that knows karate?......................
A Pork-Chop! 🐷 ( of course!)
What do you call a deer without eyes?..........................
No eye-deer (*idea). 🤪😝
A beautiful soul traded a story about trying a spaghetti squash recipe (that went off the rails) for a stripey crochet pumpkin.
I learned how children in Alaska learn to help taller ppl hunt bears and traded a sweet treat for that pearl... (I have put it in my pocket to try MUCH later with the grandchildren 🤔)
We met travelers from Minnesota, dont'cha know, and helped some others chart a course to Ft Smith.
My soul is full, my heart happy.
I could not have imagined a better end to the Farmers Market season.
Not sure what our off season market schedule will look like. Already planning a pop-up shop. I'll post dates and times as we go.
Until then, you can message me for custom jobs, and shop me here and on marketplace.
We have a few pints and half pints of Redbud Jelly that didn't make it to market today.
Be well.
All the love ,
Sue (How do you do?)
