A lot of people say they want a homestead life, but what they really want is the idea of it.
They picture fresh eggs, cute animals, and peaceful mornings. What they don’t always picture are the early wake-ups, the mess, the hard decisions, or the days when everything feels like it’s working against you.
Because real homesteading isn’t just a lifestyle, it’s a commitment.
It’s learning as you go, failing and trying again, figuring out how to make do with what you have. It’s feeding animals before yourself some days and showing up even when you’re tired.
