Big week in Packwood! Here's what's happening at Longmire Springs this week:

AND all weekend we're base camp for the Cowlitz Valley Jamboree & Campout with Washington Trails Association and the Packwood Trail Project! Volunteer crews head out Fri–Sun (Oct 16–18) to clear brush, saw out downed trees and fix tread on local trails.

The Gifford Pinchot Fungi Festival kicks off at Longmire Springs this Thursday, October 8!

6:00 PM | Trivia & Locals Night
Round 1 is all about mushrooms. Round 2 gets groovy with psychedelic music trivia. Grab your team and enjoy $1 off locally made b**rs all night.

7:30 PM | Glow-in-the-Dark Paint & Sip
Get into the festival spirit with an evening of creativity, good company, and a little mushroom magic! Local treasure Michele Livernash will guide you step by step through painting your own glowing mushroom masterpiece. No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and let your inner artist bloom.

Sip your favorite drink while you paint, then watch your creation come alive when the lights go down. You'll head home with a one-of-a-kind glow-in-the-dark painting and the perfect warm-up for festival weekend.

FEATURED VENDORS: Fungi Fest Tattoo Pop-Up

Ink to match your pint! Tattoo artists Hannah Bligh Newell (Happy Clam Tattoo) and Megan Lynn (Megan Lynn Tattoo) are setting up shop here at Longmire Springs Brewing this Friday through Sunday, October 9, 10, and 11, during Fungi Fest.

They'll be offering flash and custom mushroom- and brewery-themed tattoos, so you can take home a little piece of the fest that lasts longer than the hangover.

Three days of mushrooms, music, and good b**r are on the way. Join us Thursday, October 8 through Saturday, October 10 as we celebrate the Gifford Pinchot Fungi Fest right here at the brewery.

Thursday, Oct 8
6:00 PM: Mushroom Trivia plus Psychedelic Music Trivia. Test your knowledge of everything from chanterelles to classic jam bands.

7:30 PM: Paint & Sip with Michele Livernash. Local treasure Michele Livernash will guide you step by step through painting your own glowing mushroom masterpiece. No experience needed. It's a beautiful day for a sour!

Come soak up the sunshine and grab a pour of our Barrel Aged Sour, two years in the making. It spent two years in red w**e barrels, co-fermented with Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces, and the result is tart, wild, rustic, and bone dry. This one's a departure from our usual fruited sours, and it's worth the wait.

The Packwood Saturday Market is moving indoors!

Starting today, Saturday, October 3rd, the market is coming in from the lawn at the library and setting up here at Longmire Springs. As the seasons change, we're so happy to host them again.

Doors open at 11. Grab a Bloody Mary from our bar and take a stroll through the market.

Gather around the table with us for an evening celebrating local food, local farmers, and the community that brings it all together.

Chef Corey of Vienna Gardens will prepare a farm-to-table meal of honey garlic glazed salmon, fresh green beans, and couscous with cherry tomatoes and beet microgreens. Ingredients are organic and sourced from local farms including Understory Farm & Forage, Raven's Wind Farm, and Vienna Gardens. Guests will also enjoy appetizers including seasonal salads, fresh bread, crackers, and locally made cheese.

This dinner directly supports the Packwood Farmers Market Fresh Food Program, helping make nourishing, locally grown food more accessible to families in our rural community while putting dollars back into the hands of our farmers.

Please note: We will be closing to the general public at 5 PM on Sunday so that we can do our part to support the local farmers market.
